About Me

My name is Alberto Negron. I am a statistician, programmer and independent consultant in the data management/analytics/data science space. I live in Chester, UK (lovely city to visit if you ever pay a visit to the UK). I blog about statistics, data science, programming languages, code, open data and occasional topics such as travel, cooking and history. I am a great believer of society improvement through moral ethics and the good usage of data.

As a consultant I need to keep (most-of-the-time) my toolbox up-to-date with latest technologies and tools. I rely on tools such as SAS, R, SQL, Python and Ruby for a wide range of commercial & personal projects I am constantly involved.

This blog, its contents and opinions are my own
